About us

A Nairobi safari company founded by guides

Africa Typique Safari Ltd was founded by expert guides with more than 16 years of field experience. We create genuine, personal safaris in Kenya and Tanzania.

Who we are

Travel should be a meaningful connection

Africa Typique was born from a deep passion for East Africa. Our founders have spent years walking the bush, tracking wildlife and living alongside the land. We believe a safari should be more than ticking off the Big Five: it should be a cultural journey and a real connection with the places you visit.

Our story

Africa Typique began as a simple dream shared by a small group of local guides who had spent their lives in the bush: tracking lions at sunrise, listening to elephants move through the savannah at night, and learning the rhythm of the land from elders and conservationists.

For years they guided travellers from around the world. They also saw what was often missing: safaris that were deeply personal, grounded in real stories and connected to the people, cultures and wild spaces that make this region extraordinary.

Africa Typique was created to offer journeys shaped by real experience, local wisdom and respect for nature. Today we continue that mission by crafting tailor-made safaris that reflect the land we call home.
